# Introduction

Ekubo Protocol is AMM infrastructure featuring *super-concentrated* liquidity, a singleton architecture with flash accounting, and extensions. Ekubo Protocol is open source, free and permissionless using a proprietary [ekubo-license-v1.eth](https://ekubo-license-v1.eth.link/) license. The contracts are relentlessly optimized to be able to provide the most capital efficient liquidity ever at the lowest cost.
